Hi, I’m Shelly!
Your very own stretch therapist, animal flow instructor and/or personal trainer. Thank you so much for your interest in allowing me into your life to help you move your body better while simultaneously doing more of what you love!
I’m a Certified Personal Trainer accredited by International Sports Sciences Association, with a love for strength and mobility training. I have a background in Recreation Management, so I have firsthand experience in overcoming the physical challenges associated with office jobs.
My expertise extends beyond traditional training methods, as I am the ONLY Level 2 Performance Stretch System Stretch Practitioner and Female Level 1 Certified Animal Flow Instructors in Manitoba. By tailoring the approach to each individual's needs, I have successfully guided numerous clients towards achieving their wellness goals while prioritizing injury prevention.
I’m committed to my own wellness journey to maintain an active lifestyle. Why? Because I like being the fun Aunt that can toss the kids around at any age (mind you, I’m 5’ on a good day), hike the mountains that only exist outside of the prairies, and be able to carry heavy things to just see the reaction when I do hahaha.
I’m more than happy to help you figure out what your why is and see how my services at Encompass Movement can help you!
Hi, I’m Vie!
I’m excited to officially begin my journey as a personal trainer and stretch practitioner.
About 2 years ago, I started my own fitness journey looking for a way to feel stronger and healthier — but what I found was so much more than that. As a hairstylist, I was constantly dealing with aches, pains, and strain from long hours on my feet and repetitive movements. Getting into the gym and building strength completely changed the way my body felt, and it had such a positive impact on both my work and everyday life.
Halfway through my journey, I suffered a back injury that challenged me physically and mentally. But going through that recovery process taught me even more about the importance of proper movement, injury prevention, and training with purpose.
That experience is a huge part of why I’m so passionate about helping others now. My goal is to support people not only in reaching their fitness goals, but also in preventing injuries, increasing mobility, relieving everyday aches and pains, and building strength that improves their quality of life. And for those recovering from injuries themselves, I want to help make that process feel less intimidating and more empowering through education, support, and sustainable training.
Fitness isn’t just about aesthetics to me — it’s about feeling strong, capable, confident, and pain-free in your everyday life.
I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and helping others along the way. Thank you to everyone supporting me on this journey 🤍
